Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with ReportSync in just a few minutes by following these steps:

1. Create Your Account

Start by signing up for a free trial at reportsync.app/trial. You'll need to provide some basic information about yourself and your organization.

2. Set Up Your Organization

After signing up, you'll be guided through setting up your organization profile. This includes:

3. Invite Team Members

Invite your colleagues to join your ReportSync workspace:

Settings → Team Management → Invite Members

Asset Management

ReportSync's asset management system allows you to track and manage all your organization's assets in one place.

Adding Assets

To add a new asset to the system:

Assets → Add New Asset → Fill in asset details → Save

You can add detailed information about each asset, including purchase date, value, location, and custom fields.

Linking Reports to Assets

When creating a report, you can link it to one or more assets:

New Report → Related Assets → Select assets from the dropdown → Continue

Asset History

View the complete history of an asset, including all linked reports, maintenance records, and status changes. This provides a comprehensive audit trail for each asset in your organization.

Expense Tracking

Track and manage expenses across your organization with ReportSync's expense tracking feature.

Recording Expenses

To record a new expense:

Finances → Expenses → Add New Expense → Fill in details → Upload receipt → Submit

Expense Reports

Creating Invoices

To create a new invoice:

Finances → Invoices → Create New Invoice → Add line items → Set payment terms → Send

Invoice Templates

Track the status of all invoices, including paid, pending, and overdue. Set up automated reminders for overdue invoices.

Messaging System

Communicate with your team directly within ReportSync using our built-in messaging system.

Direct Messages

Send private messages to individual team members:

Messages → New Message → Select recipient → Type message → Send

Group Chats

Create group conversations for team discussions:

Messages → New Group → Add members → Name the group → Create

Report Discussions

Discuss specific reports with relevant team members by using the comment section on each report. All discussions are saved with the report for future reference.

News Feed

Keep your team informed with company announcements and updates through the news feed.

Creating Announcements

To post a new announcement (admin only):

News Feed → New Announcement → Write content → Add attachments (optional) → Publish

Targeting Announcements

Target announcements to specific departments, teams, or individuals to ensure relevant information reaches the right people.

Notification Settings
